Feast in the Fields

Feast in the Fields celebrates the rich bounty of local food and wine, prepared by top local chefs, and enjoyed outdoors in beautiful settings. Guests will enjoy an elegant 4-course meal featuring Palisade peaches and produce, paired with Palisade wines, and served in an orchard setting. Enjoy the warm hospitality of orchard owners and winemakers at one of Peach Festival’s signature events. Friday, August 18th you can enjoy a meal by Taproot Catering at Suncrest Orchard Alpaca Farm. Saturday, August 19th, you can enjoy a meal by Nick Santos of Cafe Sol at Peachfork Orchard and Vineyard. Tickets for each event are located below.

Suncrest Orchard Alpaca Farm owners Mike & Cindy McDermott look forward to hosting a Feast in the Field dinner in their orchard for the 4th year on Friday, August 18th.  The orchard offers a magical canopy for the outdoor feast that will delight you. The chef will create a perfect pairing of his cuisine with local wines and ciders.

Taproot Catering will create a perfect pairing of her cuisine with local catering wines and ciders. She focuses her whole foods for healthy living which support organic and locally sourced ingredients and specialize in vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free cooking.

The Saturday, August 19th Feast in the Field dinner will highlight a new orchard with the addition of the Peachfork Orchard and Vineyard. Hosts Susan and Phill Patton welcome you to their orchard and look forward to having you.

The four-course dinner catered by Nick Santos of Cafe Sol in Grand Junction is paired with wines of Palisade. Nick focuses his cuisine around the fresh harvest of different growers to create a menu that will entice and entertain you.

Appetizers will be served in the quaint tasting room and dinner is served out in the orchard so please be aware you will be out in the elements. Watch the sunset out over the Grand Valley from the high vantage point of this farm.
